Věra Čáslavská

Věra Čáslavská was born on 3^rd May 1942. She was an artistic gymnast from Czechoslovakia. She was also a Czech sports official.

 Her Achievements:-

• Won a gold medal in the Vault at the World Championships held in Prague in 1962.
• Won 3 gold medals for the Vault, Balance beam and all-around at the 1964 Summer Olympic Games held in Tokyo.
• Earned a silver in the team event at the 1964 Summer Olympic Games held in Tokyo.
• Earned a gold in All-around at the World Championships held at Dortmund in the year 1966.
• Won 3 gold medals for the Vault, Uneven Bars, and Floor exercise at the 1968 Summer Olympic Games held in Mexico City.
• Won 2 silver for the Team and the Balance beam at the 1968 Summer Olympic Games held in Mexico City.
