Tina Maze

ina Maze, born on May 2, 1983, is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from Slovenia. She is the most successful skier in the history of Slovenia. She is also the most decorated Slovenian athlete at the Winter Olympics with four medals.

• Won a silver medal in the Giant Slalom at the 2009 Val-d'Isère FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
• Clinched 2 silver medals in Super-G and Giant Slalom events at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
• Bagged gold and silver medal in Giant Slalom and Combined events at the 2011 Garmisch World Ski Championships.
• Earned one gold and two silver medals in Super-G, Giant Slalom and Combined categories at 2013 Schladming World Ski Championships.
• Secured two gold medals in the Downhill and Giant Slalom events at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games.
• Clinched two gold and one silver medal in Downhill, Combined and Super-G at the 2015 Beaver Creek World Ski Championships.
• Awarded the "Slovenian Sportswoman of the Year" title in 2005, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
