Born in Dunedin on 16th September 1987, Suzie Bates is a New Zealand cricketer. She also plays for the Otago Sparks in the State League, the Southern Vipers in the Women’s Cricket Super League and for her national team, the White Ferns. Suzie currently holds the highest batting average and the highest score in the New Zealand Women’s T20I cricket team.
Her achievements:-
- "ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year" in 2013.
- "ICC Women’s ODI and T20I Cricketer of the Year" in 2015.
- Wisden's "Leading Woman Cricketer of the Year" in 2015.
