Subhash Verma

Born in a Tomar Jat family of India on 15^th July 1968, Subhash Verma is a former wrestler who is 15 times winner of "Bharat Kesari”. Currently, he is coaching future young wrestlers of India.

A glimpse of his achievements:-

• Verma trained himself under the guidance of Indian wrestling coach Guru Hanuman.
• Subhash bagged a bronze medal in men’s 100 kg wrestling in the Commonwealth Games of 1994 at Victoria.
• He secured gold medal in Asian Championships at Bombay in 1987, silver medal at Islamabad in 1998, and a bronze medal at Oarai in 1989 and New Delhi in 1991.
• He has also won 2 gold medals at the Commonwealth Championships in 1989 and 1995, and a bronze medal in 1991, respectively.
