Stephen John Nash

Stephen John "Steve" Nash is a retired professional basketball player who was born on 7^th February 1974, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Nash is the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets team of the National Basketball Association (NBA). From 2012 to 2019, Nash served the Canadian National Team as a general manager as well as a player development consultant for an American basketball team Golden State Warriors.

Here are some of his career achievements:-

• He started playing for Canadian Junior team at World University Games at the age of 17 being the youngest player of the team
• He began playing for Dallas Mavericks and served that team for 6 years till 2004
• In the year 1999, he led the Canadian team in the Olympics where they won the silver medal after 12 years
• He was an 8 times NBA All-Star, 7 times into All NBA selection, and was also named twice as NBA Most Valuable Player
