Born on 8th September 1999, Shubman Gill is an Indian cricketer who is a right-handed top-order batsman playing for Punjab in domestic cricket and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his first-class debut for Punjab in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy against Bengal and made his international debut for India in January 2019. He was also selected in India's Under-19 squad as the vice-captain of the team for the 2018 U-19 World Cup where he played a crucial role in India's fourth world title victory and became the Player of the Tournament of the season.
