Shawn Johnson

Born on January 19, 1992 in the United States, the “America’s Sweetheart”, Shawn Johnson is a retired artistic gymnast. The young lady has blown many competitions away through her amazing performances and has added a no. of winning feathers to her cap.

Some of her achievements are as under:-

• Won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the balance beam event.
• Also secured three silver medals each in the team, all-round and floor events at the 2008 Olympics.
• Winner of three gold medals at the 2007 World Championships held at Stuttgart.
• Clinched four gold medals and a silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games held in Rio.
• Won gold and a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games held in Guadalajara.
• She has also grabbed gold and a silver medal at the American Cup of 2007 and 2008 held in Jacksonville and New York, respectively.
