Rubilen 'Bingkay' Amit

Rubilen Amit, born on 3rd October 1981, is a professional pool player from the Philippines. She is the first women from the Philippines to become a world pool champion. She became a part of the Philippines pool national team in 2005.

A glimpse of some of her career achievements:-

• Won the 2009 and 2013 WPA Women’s Ten-ball Championship.
• Earned a gold medal in 2005 and 2009 and a bronze medal in 2007 in the women’s eight-ball singles event at the Southeast Asian Games.
• Bagged two gold medals and three silver medals in the Women’s nine-ball singles competition at the Southeast Asian Games.
• Won the gold medal in the women’s ten-ball singles event at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games.
• Clinched a silver medal in women’s nine-ball pool singles at 2015 Southeast Asian Games, held in Singapore.
• Silver medal in women’s nine-ball singles at 2017 Southeast Asian Games, held in Kuala Lumpur.
• Performed in women’s ten ball singles and clinched a silver medal at 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat.
• Clinched the top position by winning a gold medal in both singles and doubles of nine-ball pool event at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines.
