Born in Wardak, Rohullah Nikpai is a well-known taekwondo practitioner from Afganistan. He started his training at the age of 10 and gave his nation its first Olympic medal in the year 2008.
His achievements:
- Bronze medal at the Summer Olympics of 2008 in the 58 kg category
- Bronze medal at the Summer Olympics of 2012 in the 68 kg category
- Bronze medal at the World Championships of 2011 in the Featherweight category
- Bronze medals at the Asian Championships of 2008 and 2014 in the Flyweight and Featherweight category and a silver medal in the year 2012 in the Featherweight category
