Born on 11th November 1985 in Karnataka, India, Robin Uthappa is a professional Indian cricketer, best-known for his aggressive batting. He plays for KKR (IPL Franchise) in IPL and for Karnataka in domestic cricket.

- Uthappa was the first player to score a half-century in an International T20 match against Pakistan.
- Holds a record of scoring the highest runs (86) by an Indian debutant in ODI (against England in 2006)
- Holds a world record for making 40+ scores in 10 consecutive innings of IPL
- Twice Received "Madhavrao Scindia Award" for most runs in Ranji Trophy in 2006-07 and 2014-15
- Recipient of "Domestic Cricketer of the Year" in 2014, being the highest scorer of the IPL season. He has also received the ‘Orange Cap' in that season.
