Poorvisha S. Ram

Born on 24 January 1995, Poorvisha S. Ram is an Indian badminton player who is currently a part of women's and mixed doubles team. Poorvisha was previously ranked 3 in doubles at the national level and attained her career's best 30th rank in doubles on November 2018. As of February 2020, Poorvisha is at 48th rank in doubles.

Here are some of her career achievements:

• Bagged a bronze medal in the mixed team category at the 2011 Asia Junior Championships.
• In the women's doubles team with Meghana Jakkampudi, she secured two gold medals at 2016 Nepal International & 2020 Uganda International and two silver medals at 2016 Bangladesh International & 2018 Tata Open India International.
• Claimed a gold medal in women's doubles category at 2015 Bahrain International, partnered with Arathi Sara Sunil.
• Clinched a gold medal in women's doubles category at the 2015 Uganda International, partnered with N. Sikki Reddy
• In the mixed doubles team with Shivam Sharma, she bagged a silver medal at 2020 Uganda International.
