Pentala Harikrishna, born on May 10, 1986, in Guntur, India, is a highly skilled Indian chess player. Harikrishna showed a remarkable aptitude for chess from a young age, quickly rising through the ranks in the Indian chess scene. He became a Grandmaster at the age of just 15, setting a record in Indian chess history.
