Nicholas Tongue

Walter Nicholas ("Nick") Henry Tongue was born on 8th April 1973. He is a former freestyle swimmer who has competed in several national as well as international events representing New Zealand.

His Achievements:-

• Bagged a silver medal in 4x100 m freestyle category at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, held in Victoria.
• Bagged a bronze medal in 4x100 m freestyle category, at the 1995 Pan Pacific Championships, held in Atlanta.
• Captured the gold medal in the 4x100 m medley, at the 1995 FINA Short Course World Championships, held in Rio de Janerio.
• Bagged bronze medals in the 4x100 m freestyle and 4x200 m freestyle categories, at the 1997 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, which was held in Fukuoka.
