Natalie Geisenberger

Born on 5th February 1988, in Munich, West Germany, Natalie Geisenberger is a German Luger who predominantly participates in singles and mixed team events. She became the Olympic Champion at the age of 26 in 2014.

Here are some of her career achievements:-

• Bagged a bronze medal in the singles event at the 2010 Olympic Games, held in Vancouver
• Winner of two Olympic gold medals in singles and team relay events in the year 2014, the events were held in Sochi
• Claimed two gold medals in singles and mixed team event at the 2015 FIL World Luge Championship, held in Sigulda
• Earned two gold medals in a mixed team and singles event and a silver medal in the sprint event at the World Luge Championships of 2016 that took place in Königssee
• Two gold medals in singles and mixed team event at the European Championships of 2017 which was conducted in Königssee
• Emerged as the champion in the 2018 Olympic Games as she won two gold medals in the singles and team relay events
• Bagged two gold medals and a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships
• Clinched a gold and a silver medal at the 2019 European Championships
• Claimed a silver medal in the singles event at the 2021 World Championships
• Bagged a silver and a bronze in the singles and mixed team events at the 2021 European Championships
