Leontien Martha Henrica Petronella Zijlaard-van Moorsel

Leontien Martha Henrica Petronella Zijlaard-van Moorsel was born on 22nd March 1970. She is a retired cyclist from Netherlands.

Her Achievements:-

• Bagged a gold medal at the 1990 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, held in Maebashi.
• Won the gold medal at the 1991 UCI Road World Championships, held in Stuttgart.
• Won a gold medal at the 1993 UCI Road World Championships, held in Oslo.
• Bagged a gold medal and a silver medal at the 1998 UCI Road World Championships, held in Valkenburg.
• Bagged a gold medal at the 1999 UCI Road World Championships, held in Verona.
• Secured two gold medals each in Road race and time trial in Road bicycle racing at the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney.
• Earned a gold medal in Time Trial at the 2004 Olympic Games in Road Bicycle racing, held in Athens.
