Lance Edward Armstrong

Lance Edward Armstrong nicknamed "big Tex" was born on 18th September 1971 in Texas, U.S. He is a well-known former professional road racing cyclist. Armstrong had a record winning streak in the Tour de France.

 Accomplishments:-

• Received the USOC (United States Olympic committee) "Sportsman of the Year" award four times in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003.
• Received the "Prince of Asturias" award in Sports in 2000.
• Received the "Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year" award four times in the year 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 repectively.
• Bestowed with the ESPY award for "Best Comeback Athlete" in 2000.
• Received the ESPY award for "Best Male Athlete" in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
