Kutral Ramesh, also known as Kutraleeswaran is an Indian swimmer who was born on 8th November1981.
His achievements:-
Secured the 4th place at the 5 km swimming competition in a sea, in the year 1991 at the age of 10
Crossed the Palk Strait (between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka), the English Channel, Rottnest Channel (Australia), the Straits of Messina (Italy), Zannone Circeo (Italy) and finally the Ten Degree Channel, all in one calendar year,1994 and beat Mihir Sen’s long standing record
Received the "ArjunaAward" by the Government of India in 1996
His name was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records in 1996 for his swimming records.
