Kei Nishikori

Born on 29th December 1989, Kei Nishikori is one of the youngest successful tennis players from Japan. He is much-publicized for his groundstroke techniques and defensive skills to dominate the game. 

A brief account of his significant achievements is given here:-

• He won the first Olympic medal (Bronze) of Japan in tennis at the Rio Olympic Games 2016.
• He is the only tennis player from Japan to be ranked amongst the top 10 ATP ranking of men’s singles.
• Kei is the first male tennis player from Asia to reach a GRAND SLAM singles final.
• Kei became the first male tennis player from Asia to reach the semi-finals of ATP world tour in 2014 & 2016.
