Karim Benzema

Born on December 19, 1987 in Lyon, France, Karim Mostafa Benzema is a French professional footballer of Algerian origin. He plays as a striker for Spanish club Real Madrid and the France national Team. Karim has been described as an "immensely talented striker" who is "strong and powerful" and "a potent finisher from inside the box".

His Achievements:-

• Received the "Bravo Award" by an Italian Magazine Guerin Sportivo
• Scored a total of 32 goals helping Real Madrid win the Copa del Rey in 2011 and the 2011-12 edition of LaLiga
• Named as "French Player of the year" for the year 2011, 2012 and 2014
• Also played on the U-17 team that won 2004 UEFA European U-17 Championship
• Benzema scored his 100th goal in a 5–0 win for Madrid at Real Betis on 18 January 2014.
• On 12 August 2014, Benzema played the full 90 minutes in Real Madrid's 2–0 win to claim the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla in Cardiff.
• Benzema has voted the La Liga Player of the Month for October 2014.
• Benzema scored a hat-trick in a thrilling 8–0 win against Malmö FF on 8 December 2015.
• He was a regular starter when his team Real Madrid won the 2015–16 UEFA Champions League.
• Benzema was a regular starter, and scored the last goal for the season when Madrid won the 2016–17 La Liga and the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League.
• Benzema scored the first goal of the match in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final and Madrid won their third consecutive and 13th overall Champions title on 26 May 2018.
• On 7 November 2018, Benzema scored impressively in the 5–0 win at Viktoria Plzeň in the UEFA Champions League group stage and achieved the 200th goal with the club, became only the seventh Real Madrid player to achieve the feat.
• Awarded with Trophées UNFP for Best French Player playing Abroad in 2019.
