Kaitlyn Lawes

Born on 16th December 1988, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kaitlyn Lawes is a prominent Canadian Curler. She is a two-times Junior champion. 

A brief account of her career achievements is given here:- 

• Earned bronze and a silver medal at the World Junior Curling Championship of 2008 and 2009, held in Östersund and Vancouver, respectively
• Bagged gold medals at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships of 2008 and 2009, held in Sault Ste. Marie and Salmon Arm respectively
• Clinched a gold medal at the  2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials that took place in Winnipeg
• Bagged a gold medal at the Winter Olympics of 2014, held in Sochi
• Secured a silver medal at the World Curling Championship of 2015 that took place in Sapporo
• Achieved one gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the Scottish Tournaments of Hearts, conducted in between 2011-2016. She represented Manitoba in the tournament.
• Earned a bronze medal in the women’s category at 2017 Canadian Olympic Trials, held in Ottawa
• Represented Manitoba and won a gold medal in mixed doubles category at the 2018 Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials, held in Portage la Prairie
• Bagged a gold medal in the women’s category at the 2018 World Championships, held in North Bay
• Won a gold medal in the mixed doubles category at the 2018 Winter Olympics, held in Pyeongchang
