Born on 15th September 1986, Joshna Chinappa is one of the leading young Indian squash players and was also the youngest Indian women's national champion.
Her achievements:-
- At the Commonwealth Games of 2018, Joshna bagged a silver medal in women's doubles event.
- In 2014, she won a gold medal in the doubles category at the Commonwealth Games, giving India its first medal in Commonwealth Games in squash.
- She won her first WSA title in February 2014 by winning the Winnipeg Winter Open Trophy.
- Joshna won a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in 2004.
- In 2003, she became the first Indian squash player to win British Squash Championship in the under-19 category.
