Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe, born on May 28, 1887, was a legendary Native American athlete. He excelled in various sports, including football, baseball, and track and field. Thorpe's athleticism was unmatched, and he became the first Native American to win Olympic gold medals in the pentathlon and decathlon at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. He also had a successful career in professional football and baseball, earning him recognition as one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century.
