Born in Cologne, Germany on 18th August 1981, Jan Frodeno is a gold medal winning triathlete. He was initially a swimmer and debuted as a triathlete in 2000.

Accomplishments:-

  • Won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
  • Won the Ironman World Championship in 2015 and 2016 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
  • He was awarded the German Sportsman of the year in 2015.
  • He holds the world record for the long distance set in Roth, Germany in 2016 with 7:35:39 hours.
