Born on 10th January 1976, in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Ian James Poulter is an English professional golfer. He is a well-known member of U.S.-based PGA Tour and the European Tour.

- Ian has won 12 European Tours in between 2000-2012
- Entitled as "Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year" in 2000, given by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and Association of Golf Writers

- Emerged as the winner of two Asian Tours- Barclays Singapore Open in 2009 and UBS Hong Kong Open in 2010 with a victory margin of 1 stroke
- Won the 2010 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, held at Marana, Arizona
- Dominated the 2012 WGC-HSBC Champions, held in Shenzhen, China.
