Born on 26th January 1985, Heather Mary Stanning is a former professional rower from Great Britain. She is a double World Champion, European Champion, Olympic Champion, and four times World Cup champion having numerous accolades in her sports.

- Jointly with Helen Glover, she holds a world record in Women coxless pairs rowing
- The first British female rower to win Olympic gold in women’s rowing event
- In 2016, she became world's number one female rower
- Two gold medals at the European Championships of 2015 and 2016
- Gold medals in the Olympic Games of 2012 and 2016
- Honoured as the "Member of the Order of the British Empire" (MBE) in 2013.
- Ten gold medals at the World Rowing Cup competition held in between 2011-2016
