Haile Gebrselassie

Haile Gebrselassie, born on April 18, 1973, in Asella, Ethiopia, is a legendary long-distance runner. His extraordinary talent and dedication have earned him global recognition. • Won gold medals at the World Championships of 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999 in 10,000 metres, held in Stuttgart, Gothenburg, Athens, and Seville respectively
