Born on 9th May 1980 in Southport, Queensland, Grant George Hackett is a freestyle swimmer who represents Australia in international events. He is regarded as one of the greatest swimmers in the history of the sport. His Achievements:-
Bagged two gold medals at the Olympic Games of 2000, held in Sydney. The same year, he received the Australian Sports Medal
In 2001, he was honored with the Centenary Medal and the Medal of the Order of Australia after securing two gold and a silver medal at the Goodwill Games that took place in Brisbane
Earned one gold and three silver medals at the Olympic Games of 2004, held in Athens
Owned ten gold, six silver and three bronze medals that he earned at the FINA World Aquatics Championships, held in between 1998-2015
