Grant George Hackett

Born on 9th May 1980 in Southport, Queensland, Grant George Hackett is a freestyle swimmer who represents Australia in international events. He is regarded as one of the greatest swimmers in the history of the sport.

His Achievements:-

• Bagged two gold medals at the Olympic Games of 2000, held in Sydney. The same year, he received the Australian Sports Medal.
• In 2001, he was honored with the Centenary Medal  and the Medal of the Order of Australia after securing two gold and a silver medal at the Goodwill Games that took place in Brisbane.
• Earned one gold and three silver medals at the Olympic Games of 2004, held in Athens.
• Owned ten gold, six silver and three bronze medals that he earned at the FINA World Aquatics Championships, held in between 1998-2015.
