Yolanda Gail Devers

Born on 19th November 1966, Yolanda Gail Devers is a well-known former American Track and Field athlete who has earned numerous accolades through her active participation in several international events.

Her Achievements:-

• Won gold medals in 100m and 4x100m relay at the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis
• At the Summer Olympic Games of 1992 which was held in Barcelona, Gail clinched a gold medal in 100m track event.
• Secured gold medals in 100m and 100m hurdles and silver in 4x100m event at the World Championships which took place in Stuttgart in the year 1993.
• Winner of a gold medal in 100m hurdles at the World Championship in Athletics that took place in Gothenburg in the year 1995
• Won gold medals in 100m and 4x100m relay at the Summer Olympic Games, in Atlanta in the year 1996
• Winner of 4x100 relay in the year 1997 at the World Championships in Athletics that took place in Athens.
• Gail's name was inducted into the National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2011 and in the United States Olympic Hall of Fame in 2012.
