- Played a crucial role in India’s gold medal victory at the 2001 Men’s Champions Challenge, held in Kuala Lumpur.
- Captained the team that secured the 1st position at the Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament, held in 2002, in Delhi.
- Received the “Arjuna Award” in 2002.
- Presented with the "Hero Honda Sports Award" in 2003-04.
