Gagan Ajit Singh

Born on 9th December 1980 in Punjab, Gagan Ajit Singh is a hockey player who has given a significant contribution as a striker to the National Hockey team in several national as well as international events.

His Achievements:-

• Voted the "Promising Junior Sportsman" in 1997, by Delhi Sports Journalists Association.
• Captained the team that won the Junior Nationals in 1999, held in Bangalore.
• Won the ‘Player of the Tournament' award at the 2001 Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament, held in Delhi.
• Played a crucial role in India’s gold medal victory at the 2001 Men’s Champions Challenge, held in Kuala Lumpur.
• Captained the team that secured the 1st position at the Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament, held in 2002, in Delhi.
• Received the “Arjuna Award” in 2002.
• Presented with the "Hero Honda Sports Award" in 2003-04.
