Farhaan Behardien

Born on 9 October 1983, Farhaan Behardien is a South African all-rounder cricketer who plays in ODIs and T20I formats for the nation. Behardien made his ODI debut for South Africa in 2013 against New Zealand and his T20I debut came against India in 2012. However, Behardien did not play any international test match in his career.

Some of his major career achievements:

• In domestic cricket, Behardien made his first-class and List-A cricket debuts in the 2004–05 season for the Nashua Titans. In 2018, he played for the Titans in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy and 2018–19 CSA 4-day Franchise Series where he completed his 6000 runs in first-class cricket.
• Entitled as the South African T20 player of the year in 2012
• In 2009, Behardien represented South Africa at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament where he led his team to the victory by hitting a six in the final ball against Hong Kong.
• Kings XI Punjab included him in their squad for the IPL 2016 season.
• In 2017, Behardien was honoured with the T20 Challenge Player of the Season at the annual awards of Cricket South Africa.
• He also captained the South Africa team for the T20I series against Sri Lanka in January 2017.
