Chen Zhong, born on 22nd November 1982, is a retired taekwondo practitioner from China. The lady has won the first Olympic gold medal for her nation in 2000 Sydney Olympics and repeated the feat in 2004 Athens Olympics.
Her Achievements:-
- Won the gold medal at the World Championships in the year 2007, held in Beijing.
- Won two bronze medals at the World Championships each in the year 1999 and 2003. The events were held in Edmonton and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, respectively
- Secured a silver medal in 2003 World Championships, held in Jeju City
- Grabbed gold medals at the 2001 and 2002 World Cups, held in Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City
