Born on 16th July 1982, Carli Anne Lloyd is an American soccer player who currently plays as a midfielder for Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League and is the part of the women's national soccer team of United States.
Her Major Achievements:
- Honoured as the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year in 2008
- Elected as the NWSL Player of the Week in July 2013 and 2014 and NWSL Player of the Month in 2015
- Selected as the CONCACAF Women's Player of the Year in 2015. Same year, she was bestowed with the FIFA Women's World Cup Golden Ball and FIFA Women's World Cup Silver Boot, winning the World Cup
- Was a significant part of the winning team of the Olympic Games 2008 and 2012
- Credited bronze medal at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2007, held in China and silver medal at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011, held in Germany
