Brenda Villa is an American water polo player, born on April 18, 1980. The lady is the most decorated athlete in the world of 'women’s water polo'.
Her achievements so far:-
- Named as “Female Water Polo Player of the Decade” for 2000-2009 by the FINA Aquatics World Magazine
- Won gold medal at the 2012, silver at the 2000 Sydney and 2008 Beijing; and a bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic
- Winner of three gold and a silver medal each at the 2003, 2007, 2009, 2005 World Championships held in Barcelona, Melbourne, Rome and Montreal, respectively
- Winner of three gold medals, each at the 2009, 2007, 2011 Pan American Games held in Sto Domingo, Rio and Guadalajara
- Gold medalist at the 2010 FINA World Cup held in Christchurch
- She had also won seven gold medals and a silver medal at the FINA World League
