Anju Jain

Anju Jain, a former Indian cricketer, was born on 11^th August 1974, in New Delhi, India. She has represented India in 8 Test cricket matches and 65 One Day International (ODI) matches. At present, she coaches the Assam team.

Her Achievements:-

• She is the only player to have played in consecutive four World Cups.
• At the Cricinfo Women’s Cricket World Cup which was held in New Zealand in the year 2000, Anju captained 8 ODI matches of the tournament where the Indian team advanced to Semifinals before losing to New Zealand.
• Anju was honored with the prestigious "Arjuna Award" in the year 2005 for her remarkable sporting achievements.
• She was named the "Best Sportswoman of the Year" in 2005.
