Ana Maria Popescu is a Romanian épée fencer, born on November 26, 1984 in Bucharest, Romania. The lady has earned numerous accolades in her professional career.

Her Achievements:-

  • Gold and Silver medalist at the 2016 and 2008 Olympics held in Rio and Beijing, respectively.
  • Won gold in 2010, a silver medal in 2015, one gold and one bronze medal in 2011 and a bronze in 2013 at the World Championships.
  • She has also won a total of seven gold, three silver and a bronze medal at the European Championships, held in between 2006-2015.
