Amit Mishra

Born on 24th November 1982, in Delhi, Amit Mishra is a professional Indian cricketer. He is one of the finest bowlers who represented India in all three formats of cricket.

A brief account of his major encompassments is given here:-

• Amit is amongst those 8 Indian bowlers and 3 spin bowlers who have taken 5 wickets haul in their Test debut.
• Together with Javagal Srinath, he holds the world record of taking most wickets (18) in bilateral ODI series.
• He is the first player to take 3 hat-tricks and also holds the record of taking the highest number of wickets (124) in the history of IPL (Indian Premier League).  
• Amit was honored with the "Man of the Series" and "Player of Series" award in an ODI event of 2016 against New Zealand. He has also received the title of "Man of the Match" in T20 international cricket of 2014 which was held in Bangladesh.
