Ajay Thakur was born on 1st May 1986. He is a professional international kabaddi player from Nalagarh,Himachal Pradesh, India.
His achievements:-
Is the current captain of the Indian kabaddi team, having experience of 14 years
Clinched a gold medal at the 2007 Asian Indoor Games which took place at Luso-Chinesa School Pavillion in Macau, China
Achieved the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Kabaddi gold medal in 2013
Played a significant role in the team to win a gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games, held in Incheon
Helped India win the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup by his stunning performance and great team effort. He was entitled as the 'Star Player' of the final match, scoring 12 raid points and the number 1 raider of the tournament, scoring the most raid points.
At the Asian Kabaddi Championship of2017, Ajay successfully aided the team in winning a gold medal.
