Ajay Kumar Reddy, born on June 03, 1990, in Guntur, India, is a distinguished cricketer and captain of the Indian Blind Cricket Team. Blind since childhood due to retinal detachment, Reddy defied odds, excelling in cricket. Known for his exceptional batting and agile fielding, he played a pivotal role in India's triumphs in multiple Blind Cricket World Cups, showcasing resilience and skill. Reddy's leadership steered the team to unprecedented success, fostering inclusivity and inspiring millions globally. Off the field, he advocates for the rights and empowerment of visually impaired individuals, embodying the spirit of determination and compassion.

Major Achievements:-

• Made his international debut in 2010 against England in a bilateral series and was awarded the Man of the Match
• Scored 4 centuries in the T20 World Cup and awarded as the Best Batsman, Man of the Series and Best All Rounder in B2 category
• Represented the team as the vice-captain in the ODI World Cup of 2014, scored 74* runs and took two significant wickets against the team of Pakistan in final that aided the team to win its first World Cup title
• Captained the national squad to its ultimate win in the Asia Cup of 2016 and was honoured with the Man of the Series award
