Richard Morgan Fliehr

Born on 25th February 1949, Memphis, Tennessee, United States, Richard Morgan Fliehr is a well-known professional wrestling manager and former WWE wrestler. His temperament is entirely different from what the conventional beliefs expect from a devout wrestler. Ric is considered as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of his time.

• Made his professional debut in 1972 against George “Scrap Iron” Gadaski
• Was awarded with the title of "Rookie of the Year" in 1975 for his dynamic debut in the world of wrestling
• He earned the title of “Wrestler of the Year” for the years 1981, 1984-86, 1989 and 1992
• He was honored as the "Feud of the Year” consecutively four times in 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990
• Won the "Match of the Year" title six times in between 1983 to 2008
• Awarded the “Match of the Decade in 2008 for the match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV.
• The same year, he was conferred the "Most Inspirational Wrestler of the Year" title and "Stanley Weston Award" 
• Ric’s name was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame in 2013
