Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma is an exceptionally talented Indian pace bowler who was born on 2nd September 1988 in Delhi.

• Ishant is the 5th youngest cricketer to take 100 Test Wickets and the 5th quickest Indian pace bowler to pick 100 ODI wickets.
• Besides this, Ishant Sharma is the 11th Indian bowler to take 150 wickets in 53 Tests.
• He is the second player after Kapil Dev to take 6 five wicket hauls in overseas Test Cricket events.
• Ishant twice received the "Man of the Series" award for Test cricket played in 2008 and 2011 respectively.
• He was honored with the “Man of the Match” award three times in One Day International Cricket, held in 2008, 2009 and 2013.
