Gisela Dulko

Gisela Dulko is an Argentinean retired professional tennis player, born on 30^th January 1985. She is a Right-handed (two-handed backhand) player. Dulko has won a total of 4 WTA, 6 ITF Singles titles and 17 WTA, 6 ITF titles in doubles with a World no.1 ranking in doubles format on 1^st November 2010.

Here are some of her career achievements:-

• Bagged three Grand Slam doubles events, including the 2000 US Open with María Emilia Salerni, the 2001 Wimbledon Championships with Ashley Harkleroad and the 2002 Australian Open with Angelique Widjaja
• Reached to the finals of 2005 Hopman Cup
• Clinched her first WTA title by defeating Sorana Cîrstea in the final of the Tier-III event in Budapest on 29 April 2007
• Became the world No. 1 ranked doubles player in 2010
• In the women's doubles team with Flavia Pennetta, Dulko bagged the 2010 WTA Tour Championship title and the 2011 Australian Open title 
• Entered into the mixed-doubles final with Edward Schwank at the 2011 US Open.
• During her tennis career, Dulko defeated the top players on the tour, including Martina Navratilova in the 2nd round of 2004 Wimbledon, Maria Sharapova in the 2nd round of 2009 Wimbledon, Samantha Stosur in the 3rd round of 2011 Roland Garros.
