Andriy Shevchenko

Born on September 29, 1976, Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko is a football manager, a politician and a retired Ukrainian footballer. He played as a striker for Dynamo Kyiv, Milan, Chelsea and the National team of Ukraine.

His achievements:-

• With 67 goals, Andriy has been ranked as the fifth top goal scorer in all the European Competitions.
• All-time top scorer of the Drby della Madonnina, with 14 goals.
• The all-time top scorer of the National team of Ukraine.
• Received the Ballon d’Or Award in 2004.
• Won the UEFA Champions League in 2003.
• Runner-up of UEFA Champions League in 2005 and 2008.
• Captained the National team and led it to the quarter-finals in their first ever FIFA World Cup appearance in the year 2006.
• Took part in UEFA Euro 2012.
