Amy Deloris Van Dyken-Rouen

Amy Van Dyken, born on February 15, 1973, in Denver, Colorado, is a former American swimmer and a six-time Olympic gold medalist. Her remarkable achievements include making history at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics by becoming the first American woman to win four gold medals in a single Games. Amy's journey took a challenging turn in 2014 when an ATV accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. Despite this adversity, she has shown incredible resilience.
