Vidya Pillai also named as the "Queen of the Green" is an Indian professional snooker player, born in November 26, 1977 in Tamil Nadu, India. The lady has added numerous stars to her shoulder all through her playing career.
Her Achievements:-
- Bestowed with the "Eklavya Award" in 2016 by the Government of Karnataka, for her outstanding performances in sports
- Won the gold medal in the IBSF World Team Snooker Championship in 2013
- Earned gold in the IBSF Australian Women’s Ranking Snooker Championship in the year 2016
- The first Indian woman to reach the WLBSA World Women's Snooker Championship finals in 2017 and won a silver medal for the same
- A nine time winner of the National Championship title
