Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi is a nine-time Grand Prix World Champion out of which seven are of premium class. From 1996, the year he started his career, he has ridden number 46 and no other. The Italian motorcycle racer is a proud holder of several MotoGP World Championships. The racer stood second at the 500cc World championships in 2000. In the succeeding year, he dominated the race track. With multiple ups and downs, the world will see the motorcycle racer participating in the 500cc World championship, 2021 again with Petronas SRT Yamaha Team.

Here are some of his career achievements:

• Won at the 1999 World Championships, with Aprilia Company in the 250 cc category, which ended in Argentina
• Won in the 500 cc category at the 2001 World Championships, with Honda, which ended in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
• Also dominated the 2002 and 2003 MotoGP World Championships, with Honda
• Performed for Gauloises Fortuna Yamaha team and won two Moto GP in 2004 and 2005
• Bagged two Moto GP titles for Yamaha YZR-M1 in 2008 and 2009
• Awarded the Winning Italy Award in 2010, by Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini
• Finished 2nd in the podium for Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team thrice in the year 2014, 2015 & 2016
