Steven Gerrard

Steven Gerrard, born on May 30, 1980, is a football icon from England. He spent the majority of his illustrious career playing for Liverpool Football Club, where he became one of the most beloved and influential players in the club's history. Gerrard's leadership, exceptional passing ability, and knack for scoring crucial goals earned him admiration worldwide. He captained Liverpool to numerous titles, including the UEFA Champions League in 2005. Gerrard's loyalty and passion for his club endeared him to fans globally. • He was appointed as England’s permanent captain shortly before UEFA Euro 2012 where he was elected to the UEFA (Union of European Football Association) Team of the tournament.
