Steve Davis

Born on 22^nd August 1957, Steve Davis is a professional and successful snooker player from Plumstead city, London. He has won six World Championships and was ranked the No.1 snooker player seven times. Steve Davis has earned numerous accolades in his career.

Here are some of his greatest achievements:-

• On 28th November 1980, Davis won his first snooker title, the "Coral U.K Championship".
• He created history by making 147 (maximum break) in a quarterfinal match on 10th January 1982.
• In 1987, Steve Davis became the first professional snooker player to win Masters, UK Championship, and World Championship in the same year.
• In 1989, Steve Davis became the first millionaire player in the history of snooker. He is also the oldest snooker player (52 years old) to win a match at the Crucible.
• He is also the first player who made three centuries in an International tournament.
