Roger Michael Humphrey Binny

Roger Michael Humphrey Binny was born on 19^th July 1955. He is a former cricketer all-rounder who played for India. He is best known for his excellent bowling at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

His Achievements:-

• Played a crucial role in India’s stumping win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup which was held in England and Wales. He was the leading wicket taker with a total of 18 wickets to his name.
• Proved instrumental in India’s big win at the 1985 World Series Cricket Championship which was held in Australia. He repeated his earlier feat by knocking down 17 wickets this time.
• Appointed as member of the selection panel of the Board of Control for Cricket in India on 27th September 2012.
