Peter Høeg Gade was born on 14th December 1976. He is a retired professional badminton player from Denmark. He is a winner of 22 Grand Prix titles who sustained the World No.1 ranking from 1998 to 2001.
His Achievements:-
- Bagged a bronze medal at the 2012 Thomas and Uber Cup events, held in Wuhan
- Received the Special Award of the DBF (Denmark Badminton Federation) in 2006
- Won a silver medal at the 2001 IBF World Championships, held in Seville
- Won bronze medals at the 1999, 2005, 2010 and 2011 IBF World Championships, held in Copenhagen, Anaheim, Paris, and London, respectively.
- Became the “IBF World Badminton Player of the Year” in 1998
- Won gold medals at the European Badminton Championships (EBC) of 1998, 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2010 which were held in Sofia, Geneva, Den Bosch, and Manchester respectively.
