Morten Frost, more popularly known as “Mr. Badminton” was born on 4th April 1958. He has been an efficient coach for the Danish national squad and enabled many victories during his active badminton career.

A glimpse of his badminton career:-

• Conquered All England Open Badminton Championship four times: 1982, 1984, 1986 and 1987
• Won European Championship in 1984 and 1986
• Won the Nordic Championship eight times from 1978 through 1984 and again in 1988
• Champion of Denmark Open from 1980 to 1986 and 1989
• Part of the Denmark national team consistently from 1976 to 1991
• Became a part of the prestigious BWF Hall of Fame in 1998
• Being a coach of Danish national squad he made his team
• Secured Olympic gold medal in 1996
• Won six gold medals and three silver medals at the European Championships in 1996
• The men's singles titles at All England Championships of 1995 and 1996
• Bagged two silver medals at the World Championships: in 1985 and 1987
